Yes it does say – 2006 Costa Book of the Year. I’m a little behind years wise with my book collection! Anyway it was a good read, a little slow at times but if you stick with it more gets revealed as time goes by. I would class it as a slow burner type of story that has a few twists here and there. Without giving too much away here is the back cover. Worth a look if you are struggling to pick your next choice!
